The all-new Kronos XTR from Team Corally takes the successful Kronos platform to an entirely new level with innovations to improve durability, handling, and performance. This 1/8 scale Brushless Electric Monster Truck features a full-time 4WD system with three heavy-duty differentials that precisely distribute power to each of the four corners. The letters XTR means Extreme. This supreme bash machine is capable of managing extreme terrain and performing extreme stunts that would send other models directly to the repair shop.

Roller means that this model is offered without electronics, allowing you to tailor the choice of steering servo, speed control and brushless motor to your exact specifications.

The aluminum shocks on the XTR feature a revised lower ball cup and spring perch, along with new pistons and spring rates to better absorb landings from extreme stunts. The completely new chassis brace system features aluminum lower braces with a 7075 aluminum central bridge, in addition to optimized tubes that interconnect the front, rear, and center chassis assemblies for maximum rigidity. A new front shock tower brace adds additional strength and precision to the front end.

The bulletproof, heavy-duty steel drivetrain features all of the best possible components for trouble-free bashing such as spring steel outdrives, rubber-sealed ball bearings, CNC-cut gears, and front CVD driveshafts. Premium 7075 aluminum for the chassis plate and shock towers delivers best-in-class durability!

The Kronos XTR also contains new heavy-duty steering blocks, along with extreme 3mm thick aluminum hinge pin braces. Underneath, front and rear skid plates protect the chassis during extreme stunts. An extra-large battery compartment makes it simple to install your favorite LiPo pack and the heavy-duty aluminum twin-plate steering system guarantees the Kronos XTR goes exactly where you point it. Premium spring steel adjustable turnbuckles allow convenient suspension and steering adjustments, while durable composite racing wheels and high-grip rubber tires deliver maximum vehicle traction.

Large Bore (16mm) Adjustable Aluminum Shock Absorbers

Big-bore shocks allow the Kronos XTR to soak up terrain that would stop other cars in their tracks! Oil-filled and easily adjustable thanks to threaded shock bodies, they feature race-inspired tuned springs, aluminum caps and special oversize lower spring cups that deliver reliability in the toughest conditions or tallest jumps.

The lower hinge pin braces on the Kronos XTR are made from premium aluminium for the utmost precision and durability. Each of these small details combine to create one of the most durable, precise-handling, extreme monster trucks on the planet!

 

Extreme CNC Aluminium Upper Arm Brace/Servo Saver Support Plate

The Kronos XTR front upper suspension hinge pins are captured and braced with a XTR aluminium brace that is connected directly to the front chassis brace for incredible strength. Further precision and durability are provided by the XTR aluminium servo saver support brace with extra tower connection that maintains proper alignment of the steering system to deliver the Kronos XTR’s razor-sharp steering response.

 

5mm 7075 CNC Machined Aluminium Front and Rear Shock Towers

Unlike other models that offer stamped aluminum shock towers and call that “premium”, the Kronos XTR delivers CNC-machined units for optimized durability and performance in addition to a multitude of tuning choices for shock and upper arm mounting locations. The special nature of the parts are further expressed with elegant laser engraving.

 

Heavy Duty, Adjustable, Mono-block Wing Mount

The Kronos XTR features a high-downforce rear wing that is supported by a robust monoblock-design rear wing mount. The aerodynamic rear wing delivers massive downforce yet retains durability thanks to being manufactured from high-impact plastic in order to endure a competitive race or grueling bash session. The wing mount with additional bracing to maintain proper wing alignment during the most severe jumps and occasional tumbles features a fully adjustable design to allow for any downforce angle-ensuring the Kronos XTR is best suited for top speed, incredible handling, or something in the middle!

 

Premium Alloy/Steel Center Differential Assembly

The critical center diff used on the Kronos XTR features an aluminium alloy case and durable, steel spur gear for unsurpassed performance and reliability. The metal case allows optimal alignment of the internal gear assembly by improving heat dissipation and eliminating fluid loss, while the steel spur gear ensures maximum power delivery and resistance to damage from dirt or debris.
The Kronos XTR’s drivetrain contains three adjustable, fluid-filled differentials to efficiently transfer power to all four corners. Featuring CNC-machined and hardened spiral-cut steel bevel gears, six planetary gears and 52 tooth spur gear on the center diff, the handling and acceleration of the Kronos XTR can be controlled independently between front, center and rear by varying the thickness of the internal fluid.

 

Extreme Aluminium Chassis Braces with 3mm Carbon Central Bridge

An oversized machined piece of XTR aluminum serves to reinforce the Kronos XTR front assembly. Connecting the back to the front with the 3mm carbon central bridge delivers outstanding rigidity and strength that noticeably improves handling response.

 

Extreme Aluminium Rear Chassis Brace with 3mm Carbon Chassis Stiffener

Like the one used at the front of the Kronos XTR, the rearward portion of the main chassis is also braced by an extraordinarily strong combination of aluminum and carbon fiber. Chassis stiffness and flex can be changed by use or elimination of the carbon brace.

 

Aerospace Ball Bearings with Rubber Seals

The Kronos XTR uses large, aerospace-quality rubber-sealed ball bearings that resist dirt and reduce rolling resistance for the highest possible performance.

 

Spring Steel Adjustable Turnbuckles

Adjustable, spring steel turnbuckles are included with the Kronos XTR to allow the driver to tune front camber, rear camber, and toe-in/toe-out; allowing for a vehicle that can be fine-tuned to the exact needs of the driver.

 

Extra Large Battery Compartment

The Kronos XTR features a huge battery compartment (161 mm x 51 mm) to allow a vast array of different LiPo batteries to be used. Additional convenience is provided by included spacers that deliver the security that only a perfect battery pack fit can provide. The assorted spacers allow quick and easy battery changes-even changing from 4S to 6S is a simple, easy, and convenient.

 

Heavy-Duty Front and Rear Skid Plates

Bulletproof, Steel Drivetrain with Extra Large Rubber-Sealed Bearings

As usually seen only on premium competition-level RC vehicles, the Kronos XTR is fitted with front, center, and rear silicone fluid-filled and sealed limited-slip differentials that ensure the full amount of power from the 2050KV Kuron motor gets to the ground. With easy removal and maintenance, you can even alter each differential individually to fine-tune the amount of traction at either end of the truggy! Inside, you’ll find a complete set of metal gears and outdrive cups that connect to steel central driveshafts. The front end is driven by CVD driveshafts, while the rear is driven by robust metal dogbones, with the entire drivetrain supported by aerospace-quality 8x16x5mm rubber sealed ball bearings for maximum efficiency and durability.

 

Oversized Composite HiCC8 Parts

Plastic components used on the Kronos XTR are manufactured from a Team Corally-proprietary, custom-blended HiCC8 polymer for strength and precision, while the race-engineered, torsionally-optimized design of the parts themselves provide the ideal balance of rigidity, flexibility, and durability.

A massive piece of billet 7075-T6 aluminum is used to manufacture the chassis plate of the Kronos XTR to maintain perfect flatness, alignment, and durability, topped off with elegant laser-etching to confirm the special nature of the truck.

 

Impact-Resistant Composite Racing Wheels with High-Grip Rubber Tires

The Kronos XTR features race-inspired, high-grip rubber racing tires with inner tire support foam mounted and glued to composite truggy wheels that utilize an industry-standard 17mm drive hex.
